Kites, Hue Festival 2009, & Tu Duc Tomb
A few epic summer days, guest-starring: Anh-Thu Nguyen and Dave Eng.
1. Making and flying kites. Garbage bags were used.

2. Kites that cost money.

3. Festival Hue 2009.

inside the citadel.

I took my friends to a VIP traditional Hue singing Festival event. (Because I got da hook-up, wha)

Stop photoshopping before I do anything, Vietnam.

For Festival, someone brought this large fish tank and placed it in the middle of a park.

4. Tu Duc Tomb.
“Emperor Tu Duc enjoyed the longest reign of any monarch of the Nguyen dynasty, ruling from 1848-83. Although he had over a hundred wives and concubines, he was unable to father a son (possibly he became sterile after contracting smallpox)…
Interestingly, despite the grandeur of the site and the amount of time Tu Duc spent here, he was actually buried in a different, secret location somewhere in Hue. To keep the secret safe the 200 laborers who buried the king were all beheaded after they returned from the secret route. To this day, the real tomb of Tu Duc remains hidden for future generations to discover.”

Too much sun, not enough sugarcane juice, no energy remaining. Anh Thu: “Hy, this could be your first celebrity mental breakdown caught on tape.” Anh-Thu… Weh wey guh naw…?
